Marsha studied at the University of New Mexico and the University of North Florida. Though Marsha her true education emerged and expanded from her 35 years as a studio artist. Marsha's professional journey began at a crossroads between her two passions: pottery and painting. At times, detouring in the multiple directions of art tiles (freestanding creations, and installations), Sculptures, and Totems. Her exposure was multifaceted as well: art shows, galleries, teaching, mentor-ships, and consulting. Her artwork is included in many public and private collections.
Marsha's driving force is to create... "I just have to!" She views her art as organic. Inspired by nature, her subjects are derived from natural objects, weather effects, and landscapes gathered from varied locations throughout the nation. She strives to mimic and replicate the form and textures around her, yet the end result resonates an essence purely her own.

In June 2017, she received the Master Craftsman Award for the 47th 100 American Craftsman show.
